LOVES: Apples, Carrots and Pears, Swinging at the Park, Drinking from Nick and I's cup, Grass, Standing up, Sophie the Giraffe Teether, Baths, Being around people.
WHAT'S NEW: Bottom teeth!, planking, downward dog Yoga pose, army crawling, can crawl a few feet, grabbing at his ears, looking at and listening to everyone and everything aka NOSEY, tries to clap like Nick and I do, sleeping longer stretches (8+ hours), lot's of baby babble, eyes are changing to more hazle than green (just like Daddy)
PERSONALITY: Jimmer is a ladies man....he loves the ladies...as long as you are female he is going to smile and flirt with you, he is happy and smiling about 90% of the time, he is such a little snuggler, curious about EVERYTHING, VERY social, and very active.
SLEEP: He is getting up once a night and eating a full bottle then back to sleep. He goes down at about 8 pm and gets up anywhere between 7 and 8 am. He takes 3 naps a day around 10 am, 1:30 pm, and 5 pm. We can put him down wide awake and he will fall asleep on his own. He's also is an active sleeper..we find him in all sorts of different positions. Lately he likes to make his way to the end of his crib so that his back is against it and sleep on his side. I've also seen him with his arm over draped over his eyes like Daddy. The Pediatrician told us today that he can medically sleep all night without a bottle. We might try weaning him....and are not against crying it out....we shall see how this goes the next few months:) Hoping he is an all night sleeper here soon!
EATING: Over the last few weeks we have been trying out different solids. So far green beans, peas, carrots, sweet potatoes, apples, bananas, and pears. He loves everything except for green beans so far. Starting next week we will do cereal and fruit every morning and one fruit and one vegetable at night. He is also still eating six 6 ounce bottles a day. I am still exclusively breastfeeding by pumping and still stocking up the freezer. I pump 4-5 times a day at the moment.
MAMAS FAVORITES: Reaching for my face, grabbing my face and giving me kisses (he has his mouth wide open and it's like he's trying to eat my face...I think he's trying to mimic real kisses like when we are giving him 100 kisses a day), his morning babble, his attempts at clapping, his giggle, and his stretch he does when he first wakes up...cutest thing ever...he points his toes, holds his breath and grunts) HAHA!
